So I Guess It's Ok To Break Contracts With We The People

I'm hearing a lot of talk about how people are going to have to get real regarding SS. SS was a social contract made with the people of this country. Every week 7% is lopped off the top of my check for SS & Medicare. I was never asked but the deal was I was 'entitled' to get this money back after, 30, 40 and in some cases 50 years of contributions. That's a lot of interest earning years. Now, instead of ending 2 wars or stopping welfare to the richest among us I'm being told they may renege on that social contract. Breaking that contract will snap in two a vital bond of trust between us and our government, one that will never be restored.

And you trust these same people with your health care?

You know how contract law works, DUmbass?

Once upon a time I went to buy a car.

When I got to the sales manager's booth the fees and rates had jacked the price considerably.

I did NOT sign the contract because I didn't  have to and I didn't want to.

It was a contract. It was to be entered into willingly ergo it could not be forced on me.

I don't remember being allowed to NOT sign the contract Socialist Insecurity.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

You signed the contract when you got your first job.  :-)

I was wondering if the DUmmie happened to have kept his signed copy of it, so he could post that for all of us to see.

The rate is 7.365% Dummie and that's only for your half...your employer pays another 7.365% ...and it was never invested anywhere to draw any interest. Plus, in a short while, you will draw out more than you ever paid in. BUT if it had been invested somewhere, you could be drawing much more than you will or are drawing without touching the principle/principal(I'm angry again).
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Oh. My. God.  :hammer:  This twit thinks his/her money is sitting somewhere earning interest. I got news fer ya Sunshine. Look up the phrase "Ponzi Scheme". It comes close to describing SS, but at least in a Ponzi Scheme the initial investors get a return on their money. The gubbment can't even do that!
