Thanks for the well wishes for my son. He is autistic and refused to be cut any slack because of it. He did exactly what any other boy had to do. He worked hard and deserves all the praise that he gets. Even if he does need the occasional foot in the hind end. But he is a teenager after all. LOL

I have a FB friend whos hubby just got home after 18 months in Afghanistan today. She was posting up till the release time and you could just feel her excitement and joy.

Child abuse for joining the Military? WTF over. What is living in Detroit and DC and east and South LA then? Those places are just as dangerous as someplaces in Iraq. ****ing traitors all of them.

I wonder what those filthy parasites at the DU would think of taking their children to something like say a "protest meeting" , or a commune , or "Alternative Community" or what not.

All well and good to expose their kids to sexual depravity, violence and drug use- but not to show them how to be a law abiding citizen serving the country with honor.

More so.  IIRC, someone compared the murder/death rates in Iraq and found out that the murder rate was actually HIGHER in cities like Memphis, DC, Detroit, and parts of LA.

And here I thought they were going to be talking about how abusive it is for young people to join. I wonder if they'd have a similar conversation about a parent being in a gang, a drug addict, or being in jail for most of their childhood. At least the child of the service member have the pride of knowing their parent is serving a cause greater than themselves and learn things like honor, duty, and patriotism.
