« on: November 07, 2010, 07:03:17 PM »
 :thatsright:

Loved that it felt like 7:30 at 6:30 this morn. Didn't love that is got dark so early.

How long does it take you to adapt to time changes? Me, a good week.

My husband either. Oh well. I guess I can enjoy my pretend sleep-in in the morning.

The fall doesn't bother me since I have an erratic sleep schedule.

Spring though kills me. Usually takes me about a week to settle in.

Usually about 1 or 2 weeks before the time changes again. I really don't care which version it is... just put it there and leave it!!  :censored:

Took a 2 hour nap this afternoon...and I'm tired now.  :thatsright: But I should be ok tomorrow or Tuesday...

Spring takes me at least a week to get adjusted. :censored:

The spring change is sooo hard for me. I love the daylight I get, but getting up in the mornings is killer for me. It takes all I have on a regular basis to drag my butt out of bed. In the spring, I am late for the first week. Thankfully I am self-employed, and I am the only one to answer to. I do cuss myself out for being late though.  ;)

I always feel wonderful when it is time for the fall time change.  For some reason, my body seems to set to the time naturally.  The spring time change is awful though, and I don't know if I really get used to it until the sun is consistently rising when I am.

I took a nap today, so my schedule is pretty much ruined anyway.  :cheersmate:

It doesn't bother me, but I do feel more lazy with less daylight.  I miss the sun in the winter.

Me too. I wish we could have it both ways. I love the extra daylight in the spring and summer. I feel like I still have plenty of daytime left when I get off of work. In the fall, it is basically dark when I get off. However, it makes me really look forward to the holidays.

For the last few weeks it's been dark when I get off work and when I go to work.

It's only the first day that screws with me a bit.  Only because there is always ONE clock I forget to change.  I was cleaning in my daughter's room, one clock was correct and one clock was an hour fast.  So it made me think the time was flying... but it wasn't.  :(

Oh, and it gets dark too early.

Fall never messes me up, except when I was in the Navy and had the midwatch. (Which I always seemed to have) The spring time change, however, royally screws me for about a month. (I only ONCE had the midwatch during the spring time change.)

yup.

Me too.  And I don't like it.  Actually, I would suffer through dark mornings, if I could have some daylight when I finish work.

When I go to work at 4AM it's dark no matter what time of year it is. At least during the winter it's dark now when I go to bed.  :-)

I woke up at 3:00 this morning.  Wide awake.  Couldn't get back to sleep at first.  My alarm was set to wake me up for work and hour and a half later, but I was so nervous I didn't set the clock right.  Sigh.  Tonight will be better!

Got up at six this morning and was still late for work. :thatsright:

I was supposed to pick up my laptop from the office and go over to the other building but I left my badge sitting on my bookshelf at home.  Technically, I showed up on time but I missed a problem ticket that came in from the main building at 8.

:(

Total suck.  I keep my badge in my armrest console, in my car to avoid such a catastrophe.
