I'm just waiting for fat people to demand that they can serve too.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I admire his fortitude, but now that he's the top-ranking Marine, he'll never make to Chairman of the JCS.

This kind of chutzpah runs against the DoD wave of the future and from a political standpoint, he'll wind up looking all by his lonesome (officially speaking, that is -- plenty of other officers share his opinion but are loathe to express it).
