HILLARY Clinton's determination to remain in the presidential race may spell bad news for small businesses in the states that are yet to vote. Clinton staff have left a trail of unpaid bills and trashed offices across the US in the past three months, raising fresh doubts about the financial viability of her run for the Democratic nomination.The manager of an office suite let to the campaign last summer in Clinton, Iowa, said he found rubbish, rotting food, holes drilled in the walls without authorisation and permanent stains on the carpet. He did not receive the unpaid rent until last month - but kept the $US500 ($A545) deposit to cover cleaning expenses.In Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a landlord, Terry Bennett, received his money only after going to the press to describe his struggles to get payment, as well as having to clean up takeaway food containers abandoned in the offices....more at the link ...

Like "Do you know who I am?" type of confrontations when people tried to get bills paid.
