Why did you do this?  WHY?  Every time I hear that song, it is stuck in my head for about two days.  Once it's out of my head, that commercial with the baby comes on.  This song started eating at my brain a few years ago when Glenn Beck always played it on his show.

Is this woman the original singer of this song?  She sings it well live.  The chorus is way too high pitched for my liking on the commercial.

As far as I know, she's the original singer, but I could be wrong.... Lot's of 60's  and 70's songs were covers, bought, or stolen from the Original artist.

Ohh hell, I had already been in the Navy a year and a half when that song came out.......

I even have the LP.......
