What do you think will happen in the 2012 election if Obama extends the top 2% tax cuts

and also cuts or plays around with Social Security benefits?

These both seem likely now. He has signaled he's open to the high-end tax cuts, and also seems on the hook for any recommendations the "Fiscal Responsibility" Commission makes.

Stealing from the poor to give to the rich....

Only in DUmmyland is people being allowed to keep their own money known as stealing.

1. Absolute disaster.

Plan on your parents moving in with you. If you're older, plan on your kids moving in with you.

You mean like what is happening now?

12. The top 2% tax isn't nearly enough to fix the demographic challenges of social security.

Probably one way to help social security is to rescind the tax cuts for everyone.

You would cry the loudest when your taxes go up.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

DUmmie said....Plan on your parents moving in with you....they're renting out the upper floors and moving into the basement with the kids. If you're older, plan on your kids moving in with you.....they're planning a coup to take over the upstairs part of the house.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Dude I attended the first political rally of my life Monday morning standing out in 30 degree weather for 3 hours to let dem supporters know Bill Clinton couldn`t bring a win in this district.

When DUmmies ever start to show the willingness to actually DO anything I will take you serious.

When the new congress is seated, there would be enough votes in the house to extend all the Bush tax cuts, and enough blue dog dems are left for the senate to pass it. That would leave it up to Lord Zero to wield his veto pen.   I don't think he would want to do that, strictly for political reasons.

That is why I think he is going to push the dems to get some compromise done by the end of the year.
