He played some this season. He was a defensive end. He'd been complaining of headaches, and when they looked in his brain, they found a tumor. Melanoma. He had emergency surgery yesterday, and he is now dead. So tragic. Too young. Please keep his family, friends and fans in your prayers.

I rooted against him. I am for his rival team. I am so saddened by this.

Ugh!! I left his name out. Nick Bell. Nick Bell, a talented very young man.

I know. Can you imagine complaining of headaches and find out you have melanoma?? At 20? And I know all colors of people can get it, but isn't it rarer for a black 20 year old to have melanoma? So sad because he seemed healthy enough to play in 4 games this season, and now he is gone.  :(

It's sad and unfortunate.  Comfort to his family and friends in their time of sorrow.
