No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

"Excuse me ... excuse me," an irritated looking Obama said before he could finally talk over the shouting. "You've been appearing at every rally we've been doing. And we're funding global AIDS (prevention). And the other side is not. So I don't know why you think this is a useful strategy to take."

What does this even mean?

What does this even mean?

What does this even mean?

It was probably the militant queers that were protesting......it's ironic considering the last part of his quoted statement above........no mention of the fact that GWB increased international AIDS funding by something like four times his predecessor......

Barack loses his cool: Angry Obama yells BACK at hecklers... as new poll shows his own party isn't sure he should be President in 2012

The pressure is on Barack Obama - and it is starting to show.

The famously-cool President lost his temper in Connecticut yesterday after hecklers interrupted a speech he was giving at a rally.

Astonished attendees watched as Mr Obama interrupted his own speech as the hecklers - believed to be activists seeking more global Aids funding - began chanting at him.

Comment from a YouTube reader:

"the other side is not" funding global AIDS. Hey Toonces, you manchild, your predecessor, the one you like to blame all your ****ups on, spent more money on AIDS prevention, cure, and education than any of the next three democrat presidents. Thanks again FiftyTwo Percenters for inflicting this petulant, thin skinned, unvetted, incompetent asshole on the country.

What does this even mean?

Hi,

i thought about this for a couple days.  At first I just thought it was cute, that BO was getting some of the stuff Bush had to put up with.  More I thought about it however I feel there is a much bigger underlying message.

While BO's response likely was right on, to me in conveyed a big problem the democrats have right now.  Recall the Messiah was going to come and save the world.  Real or just imagined, they all expected him to deliver on their personal agenda and the complaint is that he has not lived up to his expectations.

Likely there were some gays who expected him to cure aids, have an all gay military, a free pony, free K-Y jelly for life and who knows what else.  Their complaint was that he did not deliver as promised.....or what they perceived he promised.  I think that is going to get worse as time goes on; particularly when the republicans try to un-do and not fund a lot of his nonsense.

regards,
