Haven't heard anything about this from a reputable source, and it's hard to tell whether the idiot is talking about something that happened this past Sunday (Was Karl on FTN then?) or hoping it happens this coming Sunday. Their imprecision with language is just as annoying as it is frequent.
In most states, attorneys can write and send subpoenas without anyone possessed of impartial judgment seeing them first, if the person served blows it off, their remedy isn't jailing the person for contempt, it is to go to the court where the case is pending and get a real judge to sign one, which may or may not happen.
The gist of the questions sounds like the kind of thing I'd respond to with "No," "Yes," "Deponent has no knowledge of the subject of the question." Minimalist answers drive idiots that spend 10 days trying to concoct bear-trap questions to suicide, if you're lucky.
