The mind of the average Republican...
   

The average Republican does not trust Democrats. They believe Barack Obama is a socialist. They believe he has already put the country farther in debt than George W Bush.

They trust the military to always do what is right. They have no problem with any money spent on the military. They do not trust money spent to help people. Most are avid flag-wavers.

They do not believe the money spent on TARP by Bush and continued by Obama was necessary. They believe that all the economists that said it was necessary do not know what they are talking about.

They still believe we need to cut taxes for the wealthy and to get off the backs of businesses and Wall Street. They do not trust government to do anything right except get their check to them on time at the first of the month.

The average Republican does not trust anyone presently in government and believes any replacement would be better than what we now have. They do not trust education or intelligence. They believe their own common sense is superior.

They believe in their God and their Bible. They interpret the words literally. They believe women should be subservient to their husbands. They do not support gay marriage. They believe they are morally superior to Democrats.

Damn I was supposed to get a check from the Govt on the first of each month?
I've been cheated since I have yet to get one.
I think Kentuck has us confused with DU they are the ones getting checks from uncle Sam and bitchin it aint enough.

Not being particularly religious, my 'Bible' is more like The Shooter's Bible, and I trust science just fine, thankee, as long as 'Science' excludes psychology, sociology, etc. from the discussion and actually adheres to real scientific principles like repeatability of results, formulation of testable hypotheses, and distinguishing fashionable theories from proven facts.  Though honestly I consider myself a Conservative of the Libertarian variety rather than a Republican.
