DUmmies, why should the naming conventions for the the Democrat party be different from every other political group?

Republicans belong to the Republican Party
Communists belong to the Communist Party
Socialists belong to the Socialist Party
Libertarians belong to the Libertarian Party
Greens belong to the Green Party
Therefore
Democrats belong to the Democrat party.
