There are people that need help, even long term help.  If someone is truly disabled, then I don't have a huge problem with giving them assistance.  The problem now is that more than half of "social spending" is nothing more than a vote buying scheme foisted on our country by the democrat party.

DUmmies know that if people are required not to be dependent on the US government they would realize the proper role of government.  They can't have that and their little dictator dreams.
