I thought it might be a bear, but it was the only track I saw. This was in the bottom of Providence Canyon in Stewart County, Ga.
I was kind of joking because there's nothing in the picture to judge the size by. But it does look like a partial print of the front paw of a bear.
Where I live hasn't had bears in probably the last 150 years....until about 10 years ago. A fellow called me and ask me to come look at what he had caught in his barn. He wanted to know what it was...yes they're people that stupid. It was a bear cub. I told him to either kill it or turn it loose before momma came looking for it.
We have reports of one now and then around here. We also have a big cat sighting every once in awhile. I saw a big cat about twice/three times the size of a bobcat one night 5/6 years ago.
