WASHINGTON (AP) — Someone fired shots at the Pentagon early Tuesday, hitting the building and causing minor damage, defense officials said.

Police who protect the massive Defense Department headquarters temporarily locked down some road and pedestrian entrances to the building after a civilian reported he may have heard shots at about 5 a.m. on the south side of the facility.

A sweep of the area and facility found that some shots had hit the building, Marine Col. Dave Lapan, a Pentagon spokesman said. He didn't know how many or from what kind of weapon.

Maybe the shooter was just a few years late and trying to shoot  Anwar al-Awlaki when he visited the Pentagon.

I can't find it now, but there was a DUmmie thread about the first two shootings.  A couple of the DUmmies proposed the idea of the shooter being a military person suffering PTSS for having committed war crimes.

They didn't say anything about that, but they haven't connected this last shooting to the other three yet.

Last I heard this morning, they're asking the shooter to turn himself in.  The targets are certainly USMC related and the concern is the USMC marathon this weekend expecting 30k runners ... geesh, nothing like giving this nutjob an idea ....  :whatever:
