For years, California has had commercials promoting the state. It had its share of stars and whatnot in puff piece scenes, but always ended with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the final scene.
Not anymore. Betty White now is the premiere spokesperson, and Arnold is nowhere to be seen. To be fair, Arnold is only going to be governor for two and a half months more, and will be a lame duck. But he had been a tolerable governor with the Hollywood elites, and frankly, he is a Hollywood A-list personality.
So why replace him with Betty White now? The bottom line is that he's on his way to being a political has-been, California's ultimate RINO in residence. And I do believe that California has smelled the tea leaves...
Call it a hunch, more than an informed analysis. But in this season, my hunches have been correct. I've been on record the day Obama was ELECTED in Nov, 2008, that the GOP would win big in 2010, and my hunches follow the same path.
