I've groused about the back story for years. It's never made much press.

CP gave over $600k to al Zarqawi's thugs while they held Fallujah in 2004.

Now it comes out Waxman wrote the diplomatic letter to accredit CP. Now he's pussing-out claiming he thought CP was just doing charity work.
