D.C. firefighter caught cooking naked suspended
« on: October 12, 2010, 02:28:15 PM »
Quote
WASHINGTON - A firefighter photographed cooking eggs, naked after a retirement party in a D.C. firehouse has been suspended without pay and is now the subject of a new investigation, WTOP has learned.

...

Rubin says after a retirement party at the station, several employees went to nearby bars, and apparently returned to the firehouse for a late-night breakfast.

Oh..I not the only one? At least I'm not getting suspended.

See..It's not that I'd get naked to cook, it's just that I might not bother to dress if I was hungry, tho' usually I can find something in the fridge already cooked.

If he cooked what was in the pan without an accident, I do not see the problem here. Just a little grab ass. This is one instance where the union will help him keep his job.

You should at least wear pants while cooking.  Shirt and shoes are optional, but recommended.

I used to never wear a shirt when I was cooking breakfast. Then, one day, I decided to fry up some bacon while shirtless. That was a MAJOR mistake!!!!!!

Yeah, you have a point. Schlepping a 50 lb. tuba around doesn't do much for my girlish figure.  :lmao:

Try "schlepping around" a 100 pound HF radio or different test equipment of equal weight down a flight line of 200 yards !!  Then there's the various Ground Support Equipment that one usually has to shove around because there's no tow tractor available. I vividly recall shoving an MMG-1 across a hangar a couple of times, by myself. It weighs in at 8000 lbs. Sooooooo........ quit your whining, cookie boy band geek.....  :fuelfire:

My God, Thor, why in the hell would I schlep that kinda stuff around? Uh....maybe I should point out that the Navy shoulda had machines to do that kind of stuff? (It mighta saved some wear and tear on the ol' corpus, eh, buddy?)

Because you weren't a Flight Line Avionics tech......  :-)

On the serious side, I really didn't have much of a choice. Commitments had to be made. Aircraft had to be Full Mission Capable for most missions. They did have machines for most of that, but they were either in use for other things, I didn't have a license to operate them, or both. (We had 22 or so aircraft and typically two tow tractors.)
