500+ years ago the white man discovered the land of the red man and proceded to steal all his gold and land....now days liberals who didn't get in on the "Great Theft" seem to be complaining that  they're not getting paid time and a half for not working this holiday.

Happy Columbus Day...and when do the racist threads start at the DUmp?

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Well, I would argue that Columbus discovered America. There is documented evidence that the Vikings were here in 900 AD. There is also evidence that the Welsh were here  around 1100 AD. So..... in that vein, I do NOT celebrate "Columbus Day"..... :fuelfire:

Well, it is one of those many holidays I worked all those years I was self employed. Thanksgiving and Christmas were the only holidays I took off for sure.
