Dishwasher = honest work.

DUmmies prefer diability fraud, unemployment, welfare, foodstamps....that's accomplishments one can be proud of.

You know, I didn't mind working as a dishwasher.  I did it for a while before being pushed into working as a cook.  It's an honest day's work for an honest day's pay and there's nothing wrong with it.
If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

That was the first "real" job I ever had.  I bussed tables and washed dishes for $3.35 an hour and it taught me many excellent lessons that I have carried forward (25 years) to this very day.

The biggest lesson I learned is that I didn't want to do that for the rest of my life.

... A guy putting a sign in HIS lawn sounds like a successful homeowner, not a section 8 apartment dweller.  Mentally challenged or not.  No, I think the OP made this up, and then endowed his fictional character with certain needs that require government nanny protection.

Remember, to a leftist anyone who disagrees with them is stupid, evil, or both.

... The tale is getting old and tired.

Me too.  I just try to avoid them; it's nearly impossible to deal with people who think you're stupid and evil just because you don't hold their values (and I use the word "values" very loosely).

Exactly, Carl.  I'd rather live dirt poor in a USA where a limited gov't stays off my back and virtually out of my life than filthy rich in a USA the way the liberals would have it.   Being filthy rich under Big Brother is still being a slave to the gov't.  At least with limited gov't, I'm free.  Freedom is worth much more than money.

.

Amen to this. Even if a serf is a well-fed serf, his condition is dependent upon the whim of his owner. What the government can give, the government can take away. I would prefer living in the most remote Mississippi backwater, not subject to California-style regulation, to all the "entitlements" a government can dream up. It's not as we don't pay for them anyway. I prefer to decide for myself the worth and value of things, not have the government take my money and decide for me.

Well, I got the back seat of my pickup full of political signs. The Obama supporting brothers have torn down my one sign 3 times and each time I repaired it and put it back up. The last time they pulled it up and threw it under the  bridge down the road where all the gang signs are painted under the bridge.

I'm gonna have a yard full from now on. I got a Jim DeMint sign, a Nicky Haley sign, A Mick Mulvaney sign, a Vote Republican sign and a Sack Spratt sign....gonna keep the brothers busy between now and November.

You could do like this guy did.  His signs kept getting stolen, so he put a small electrical charge on it.  The cowardly neighbor had been using his son to do his dirty work.
