(AP) – 13 hours ago

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Police say two students were injured when a man opened fire at a San Diego-area elementary school.

He was quickly tackled by bystanders, and the children suffered only minor injuries to their arms. snip

A witness says he looked out his window to see a man park a van, jump over a fence at Kelly Elementary School, walk across a field and open fire with a .357 Magnum revolver at a crowd of children.

Terry Lynn told KNSD-TV the man was ranting about the president when he was tackled by construction workers.

99% of things like this are done by lefties and as we see daily, along with the DUmmies themselves that their side is becoming increasingly unhinged with every passing hour. I'd have to say you're safe in any bets you'd be willing to take on this.

The left will try to gain political points out of anything they possibly can. That's why they always say it was tea birthers anytime some nut does something which so far has been proven false every time.

If we're going to get all political on this issue, I'd like to know if this gun was registered legally in the state of California.  There is no open carry in California.  And don't you have to go before a judge just to get a conceal carry permit?

Thing is most people look at this event and don't connect it to any political party, they just know the shooter was evil.  For the primitives to attempt to attach it to politics is a sure sign of their current desperation.  Good, let them do it.  Less time they have to be out in the real world wrecking havoc on good and descent people.

Authorities late Friday identified the alleged gunman in a Carlsbad, Calif., school shooting that left two young girls with minor injuries as Brendan L. O’Rourke, 41, thought to be a transient.

Personally, I don't care at all which side this guy was on politically, though it will serve the DUmmies right if he is one of theirs.

My favorite part of the article was this:

Ed Willins, an eyewitness to the shooting, said he saw the workers tackle, punch and kick the gunman. "They were on him immediately," he said. "They administered a little street justice on him before the cops got there."

Good for those construction workers.

I thought that if Kalifornia was a CC state the guy might have been taken down quicker.  His political leanings never came to mind.
