As everyone knows, banks are hoarding money right now, reluctant to invest in companies. That may be a method of making the Obama administration look bad, and make conservatives look good. Since banks know they will get more favors with conservatives in power, I'm thinking banks may start to invest after the mid term elections when more conservatives take power, or in a scary scenerio, they may continue to hoard money until 2012 elections, which would keep unemployment high and insure Obama would no be re-elected, then open the flood gates and invest with a newly elected republican president : (

Banks have the power/methods to screw the democratic party/ Obama administration and make them look incompetent in terms of the economy/jobs.

1. I don't agree but if you are correct
   
it would be very easy to change that - or so I'm told. Simply start charging the banks rent for stored money and add a fee for every share of stock traded. Now I'm not smart enough to know if that will work but the Wachovia bigshot that handles our business financing is convinced that will help.
   

And these bozos wonder why we don't want them in charge of the economy.

Folks, the left is really losing it. At one time I would have thought a report on a politician saying food stamps created jobs would have come from the Onion. Look primitives, when Dems are in power businesses can never be sure exactly what you're going to do.  You are not a business friendly party despite your pointing out that Dear Leader gave money to Wall Street.  Somehow in your fragile, egg-shell mind(lessness) you believe that makes him out to be some type of corporatist.  He's not, he's anit-corporation.  He's giving them money in order to try and control them.

Bottom line is that until businesses see there's some type of safeguard between Dem leaders and being able to operate a business without having to worry about some stupid liberal interference, like increased taxes and/or regulations, they aren't going to risk capital.  You've done it to yourselves by imposing too strict of regulations and laws in the past.  You can't be trusted.

I was thinking about the cruise ships and gambling they are doing. I would think for it to have become noticeable it had to be pretty wide spread. I doubt we are talking one or 2 people.
