When that's their focus, it means they really got nuttin'.
I saw Luntz on Fox this morning, with a focus group comprised mostly of smug fools from California, whom at the end he surmised had not drastically changed their tune about anything (Actually it appeared several of them were too cowed by Cali Lib-culture peer pressure to speak their minds frankly, but there were no shortage of self-superior social liberal morons from both parties), summing up with a statement that without California involved there could be no national political revolution. I beg to differ. The Californians he showed seemed haughtily intent on keeping up all their same nonfunctional ways, believing themselves a superior race apart from the rest of the U.S., but finding someone with whom they disagreed to blame for it (Preferably a Social Conservative, apparently), so it appears to me that it is California that is mired in a failed past and headed into further failure, and will be a bastion of failure long after the rest of the Nation moves ahead.
