IMO, many of the parents who are buying meals still at McDonald's or Burger King

really aren't thinking about the food they are eating -- and especially not thinking

about what they are feeding their children ... but, again, government hasn't really

been playing the necessary role in informing them, either!


Would just add here, that people who break down foods to profit from them mightily also

well understand that both SUGAR and SALT are addictive -- and that usually processed

foods are loaded with them . . . which is often what brings people back for MORE!

I have said before, and I repeat: slavery needs to be legalized. Not based on race, as it was at the ill-advised institution at our nation's founding, but rather it should be based on the fact that some people simply do not deserve the freedom which they happen to be accidentally born into. D&P is one of these people. He obviously cannot be trusted to eat what is best for his own well-being and he feels he needs government to intervene.

But, as I have stated, instead of a nanny state that collect taxes and impose laws on the entire population we should legalize slavery so the only people paying for the unfit are those who directly own them. and instead of welfare nanny-ism drawing money from the entire tax paying population but not gaining any material benefit from those whom it supports at least the slave owner could demand compensation from his property by means of labor and/or coital relief.

Tell me where I'm wrong.

Do you know who is responsible for buying kids their Happy Meals ? The parents.

If the parents don't want their kids eating fast food every day, they will say "No." - And if the parents are so dumb, as to let their kids decide the menu, then its not McDonald's or any corporation's fault, its the parents.

Its the same argument that they use against firearms, and just as ridiculous. Just like the mythical roving band of guns that kill people, gangs of cheap toys are apparently making kids fat. Because irresponsible people can't possibly be at fault...   :whatever:

1.  I would have better luck talking the paint into jumping off of the walls than getting a DUmbass to do anything other than bitch when told to work.

When I was growing up, we were lucky to eat fast food once every two months! My kids, maybe once a month, unless they had their own frikkin' money!
