AnArmyVeteran...looking for some back story
« on: September 27, 2010, 08:05:59 PM »
I've seen him referred to as a fake vet.

Is this conjecture or do we have proof?

If he is a vet my guess he's some hippy draftee that couldn't afford bus fare to Canada.

At any rate he is one of the most rancid POS at DU.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

I say he's a mole.

He does seem to hit all of the talking points, in the correct order.  Maybe you're right.
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor

I'm the one calling him fake and I have no proof.

For some reason I think he's the reincarnation of ArmyOfWalgreens.
25 years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope.  Now we have Obama, no hope and no cash.

Same here. I've called him a phony since he crossed my radar beam.

11Boo is the real fake. He's no mole. He lives his life through a Hollywood movie.

ArmyofWalgreens was some 22 year old-ish idiot who worked at a Perkins in Arizona.  Unless that was just a ruse.  Who knows if these two are the same people?  Only $kimmer and the mods know for sure, they can look at the IP addresses.

I know enough details about particular units during the Vietnam War that I could certainly pass my self off at the DUmp as a vet, and probably even pass the scrutiny of observers here, but somehow I'm sure I would burn in Hell if I tried.

Alot of the so called vets on DU are fakes or more then likely if they did serve it wasn't in the branch or MOS they claim to have been in.

Yeah, pretty hard to get street cred at the DUmp if ya was a clerk or worked in the motor pool!
