Interesting that the state cannot acquire the drugs needed to put down a rabid dog.

"The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation has said it likely can't acquire more of the drug until next year. That would further extend the de facto execution ban Fogel put in place in 2006 when he found California's lethal injection process deeply flawed."

What the frig are they trying to tell us the stupid public, that they are too ignorant to pick up the Yellow Pages and find a animal hospital
that uses that drug to put down sick cows, horses, dogs and cats.

Or is that Drug classed by the FDA as for animals only, not for humane use.?

Drugs for humans and drugs for animals definitely are indicated, manufactured, marketed, and sold separately, but the regulations governing these are very similar. I don't have time to research fda.gov right now for links, but drugs indicated for animals are definitely labeled that way. Ditto for human drugs.

I'm not sure what California's problem is with their execution protocol via lethal injection, but it wouldn't surprise me a bit to learn that the moonbats have once again wrested control of the state.

Victims? Hell, they're dead anyway, so it doesn't matter too much about victims.    :sarcasm:

I think this situation is a bunch of hog wash.  Every state should have a backup procedure for this type of matter.  If there is no lethal injection drug, move on to plan B. There are plenty of other ways to skin a cat.  Personlly, I find lethal injection a poor punishment for raping and killing a child.  There are much more effective and less expensive avenues to choose from.  I believe if the death penalty is given, then the victim's family should choose the method.  Much more fair all around.

Whats the worry?  Is anyone concerned that if the convicted rapist/murderer is given drugs marketed for animals that it might make him sick or possibly kill him?

Hell, I ain't the one who's worried. Apparently the state of Commiefornia is worried. I agree with Tots - let the family of the victim decide which way the bastard gets to meet his maker.

Where have all the children gone, long time passes, when will we ever learn.----Sorry that bit of music entered my head.

We just need to admit that as some children are born missing a limb, some kids are born missing a conscious.   They have the same rights that everyone does but when those rights are used to make Hell for other people, that is where they should stopped.

As much as we hear about the horrid conditions in prisons or jails these ne'er do wells have a better life then people by the billions do world wide.

Where else can one get 3 hot meals a day, a bed with clean sheets, TV, play basketball and have access to visitors and a full library.  If their family's send them money for their canteen they can access drugs from the guards, call out for a pizza.

While their victims worry about the rent, utilities, food, have no cable or free phone service, medical care, dental care. ----- The very people that put them in this situation has the RIGHT to life of their needs, to  demand these things.

They receive mail with pictures of their family graduating from highschool and new born grandchildren.

The victims never get to see their kids grow up or will never receive a picture of their grandchildren.  Some of the victims are blind, deaf, crippled by the very people that every Liberal worry about their comfort and rights.

Who gives a thought to the victims and their rights.????

Huff and Puff this is so backwards it boggles the mind. :ranton:
