Hello all.  Nice to meet you.  This looks like a great site.

Being a conservative in New York can feel pretty lonely sometimes, so it's great to find an online community of like-minded people.  I'm looking forward to chatting with you folks!

There are a few of us around.  Some of us have to hide (like you poor sods in NY), some of us can actually see daylight once in a while.

LOL, nope, I was never part of the Rainbow Division.  I'm a big fan of the great hard rock band Rainbow (and their late, great lead singer Ronnie James Dio), and so that is where my name comes from.

Thanks for all the welcomes, folks.  I'm really happy to be here.  And glad you like the avatar, Jessica.  When it comes to avatars, I usually go with either kitties or horses!

Thanks!  My Brooklyn neighborhood is actually kind of red too, so it isn't entirely bad.  A tiny island of sanity.
