My right-wing sister

Just to show you how totally confused a teabagger can be, enter my sis. Background first. Her two most respected people are Dr. Laura & Sara Palin. At the bottom are Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer. She won't admit to watching Fox.

So we're getting into a warm argument about Muslims. She says they all want to cut our heads off. I say what is your source for that info. She says that all the media is saying the same. I say, do you listen to Amy Goodman. She says, what's an Amy Goodman. Duh. I say that the radical element represents about .001 percent of all muslims.

Then we talk economy. I say the Tea Party movement is a stupid attempt to reign in spending when the military accounts for the vast majority of wasted capital. That our military is 1000 times bigger than it needs to be. She says she thinks the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were misguided and we should stop both wars. She says we should use our resources to take care of the elderly, the sick, and improve education.

I accused her then of being a liberal progressive. That upset her greatly. She will vote for Sara in 2012.

How misguided can a person be?

2. Yep....

I run into people all the time who vote against their own interest all the time and don't even know it....these people are not informed at all....they either watch FOX News (or listent o hate radio) or base their voting prefecences on things that just dont matter (i.e., who would I rather have a drink with).

Who are you to determine that other people vote against their own self interests?

12. My Aunt is a teabagger. Real old-south racist. Loves Jesus. Hates everybody else.

Her and my uncle live on Medicare, Social Security, VA and probably food stamps too. They go to the local food bank and get their food sometimes. And then they rant and rave about people "being dependent on the gov't," and the perils of "gov't healthcare" and "taking handouts".

Well lets see they probably payed into ss and medicare all their lives and are getting some of their money back. I'm assuming the VA benefits come from the husband who served our country during war time.
Yep they are exactly the same as a 23 year old stoner with a "hurt back" who never worked a day in his life collecting govt money.  :banghead:

26. I think you'll find most teabaggers are all over the map like that

They're wildly liberal on a lot of issues, hate Stupid, but it's fashionable for them to hate Muslims and love the Wasilla Grifter, so they obligingly do so.

However, this is why I think the Koch brothers Astroturfing job is only a temporary one. Eventually these people are going to think about a lot of things like extending the ruinously expensive tax cuts to men like the Koch brothers and hedge fund managers who screwed up the economy so thoroughly.

A lot of them have the potential to wake up. The fact that they're angry and they know they've gotten a raw deal is a positive one. All they need to do is realize just who was responsible for giving them that raw deal and they'll dump the Astroturf like the bag of feces it is.

Keep thinking the tea party is astroturf and will fade away. In a few election cycles you won't know what hit you.

28. People don't want to admit when they are wrong or worse,

when they have been lied to and abused by the very people they trust.

That explains Obama supporters quite well.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

It's actually a full 1% as close as anyone can tell.  And one percent of one BILLION is a hell of a lot of radicals.

As for the rest of it...what kind of shitbag do you have to be to bag on your own famlily like that?

Hey now, the only way for DUmmies to remain totally ignorant about the dangers of Islam is not to read or study their religious books....and there you go trying to explain it to them....showing them the actual words from the Muslim "book".

....and I guess that might also be why the cost of mind bleach has gone up so much.

No, DUmbass, she didn't mention it, unlike you who probably browbeats anyone that dosen't watch CNN.

If that number that you gave about the radicals being such a small amount, then why are they being heard more so than the "peaceful" mooselims that are opposed to what the radicals are portraying their religion out to be?!?! Why are not more and more mooslims standing up against the victory mosque or condoning terrorists attacks or foiled plots?? Every single mass violent event in the world involves muslims.

That. Is. All.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

So my sister in law is a libtard crack whore who has milked the welfare system for her whole life. Do I post it here to hope you folks admire me for noticing? Noooooooooo!
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

Ptarmy, unlike us, they practice Liberalism as a way of life, hence the absolute unhappiness they live in.

One reason why I even know about Ms. Goodman, I used to watch FSTV on purpose, you need to know just who your enemy is, and they are bat-shit crazy.

These people are a boil on the ass of humanity. Their entire world revolves around the political leanings of friends and families. My mother was a Democrat and a moonbatty one at that, my nana's a Roosevelt dem, one of my sisters (who's also my best friend) is an evangelical and conservative, don't have a clue what my brother thinks, my stepsister I'm pretty sure is liberal but her husband is a retired Marine and he's conservative, my stepbrother is gay and lives in SF, my half sister dropped out of HS and has no real job skills but wouldn't matter if she did because she was in a car accident before her daughter was born and suffered head trauma that prevents her from working...while she lives on disability she's raising a lovely, smart, responsible daughter. My BIL is a moonbat's moonbat (I'm still working on finding out his DU name). My inlaws are conservative. One of my sons in very conservative and the other spends too much time on the internet reading conspiracy theories and how evil food additives are. We're big, loud, and fun. A few I talk politics with a few but most I don't. My sister and I talk mostly about politics as it relates to homeschooling and children since we've both been there. We all have a history together that transcends politics and petty bullshit. These people have miserable lives and it shows.

Only one moonbat in my family, my younger brother. I chalk it up to him doin' too much of the brown acid when he was a teenager. It gave him epilepsy, so he sorta has an excuse.
