Muchas Gracias!

Those beers sure do look good.  I won't get to have any tonight   :bawl:

We have a football game almost 3 hours from the school and I need to pull a band trailer to get some equipment there.  We won't even get home until 3:00 am.  Maybe I can 'pop a top' then?!

Hehe.  Well, the games are ok but we are true band parents.  We wonder why the football team is using the marching field for playing ball!

Actually both of my kids are in the band.  My son is band captain and plays the saxaphone and my daughter is a percussionist but plays the murimba mostly.

The show this year is absolutely awesome!  It is called 'Vengeance' and is from Sweeney Todd.  I have some raw video from last weeks game that I have to upload to youtube.  When it get it uploaded I'll post it.

I would love to see it!  Might even share it with my bro.  He still has that band spirit.  And still goes to games to watch the band.

Just got home from the band performance where a football game happened to break out.  LOL

Jack and Coke is going down well and as soon as my son gets home I'll be going to bed.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes.  It was truly an awesome birthday if somewhat busy.

I would ask everyone to say a small prayer for a family in Texas when you see this.  The quarterback for West Orange high school collapsed on the field tonight and died.  Cause of death is unknown at this time but I'm sure the family could use any prayers you could spare.  No, this was not the game we were at but it was very close to where we were playing and news had spread to our game before we left tonight.

God bless, hug your kids and have a great weekend!

KC

PS ^5's to all in this thread!  (they were handed out as you posted)

Thanks Euph!  Yeah, my kids LOVE band.  The director we have had for the last 2 years has turned our band around and it is amazing to watch.  While I'm glad my son is a senior I wouldn't mind if he had a couple more years under this director.  One of the coaches from the other team, after watching our half time show, asked our director if we are a 3A or a 4A school.  We are 3A but the band is getting that good.
