Funny, Chris Coons' website has no fundraising data on it.

Look at this guy's endorsements:

AFSCME
American Postal Workers Union
Communication Workers of America
Council for a Livable World
Delaware AFL-CIO
Delaware State Education Association
International Association of Machinists
NJDC
People for the American Way
SEIU
Sheet Metal Workers
Stonewall Democrats
Teamsters
UAW
United Food and Commercial Workers
VetPAC

If someone like that came knocking on my door, I would chase him away with a crucifix and a Bible.

It's not the GOP contributing the money, it's CONSERVATIVES who prefer to donate to CONSERVATIVE candidates directly and refuse to give a dime to the RNC until they clean up their act (haven't donated to the RNC for 5 years now, and everytime they send me a letter and a pre-paid envelope asking for a donation? I write on the stub I refuse to donate a dime until the Republicans start acting like Republicans not Democrats, and I send it back, it costs them 42 cents and no donation!)

It's actually 44 cents now, and will increase to 46 on Jan 2.

I heard someone doing this to a Democrat donation letter.  It, too, was a "Business Reply" envelope, meaning the postage will be paid by the original sender.  He put a brick (or some other heavy object) in a box, taped the envelope to the outside, and mailed it back!   :rotf:

The word that I'm getting from my son's friends that work on "The Hill"......is that the viseral reaction was due to the fact that Rove and Castle are personal friends, outside of politics, and have been for some time.

Unprofessional for a pundit, but a bit more understandable under those circumstances.

And that's a pretty good explanation, TVDOC. Simple, makes sense, explains why he was so unusually agitated. Thanks for the skinny.

That would actually make a great O'Donnell ad, she can say look who's supporting Coons and look who's supporting me.

Rove did indeed apologize, and donate to Christine's campaign though, so I'm not sure if Carl was indeed being a genius, or a bonehead with his comments.
He apologized? Got a link?

$1,667,661 with a goal of a cool two million chickens.

Now repeat after me, very fast, Senator Christine O'Donnell.

He was on O'Reilly tonight and you could tell he was bitter that his old pal lost. Plus, he certainly was not gung ho about supporting O'Donnell.

Races like this cause me an ethical dilemma.  Personally I think it should be illegal for a candidate for house or senate to take a single dime from anyone that lives outside of their districts.  They are supposed to be representing THEIR DISTRICT and no one else.

Since however it is legal for them to take contributions from out of district/state, the dem's have used the law for years to pour millions into hotly contested races to put their candidates over the top.

While I'd like to see campaign finance reform eliminating such donations, I haver started myself sending money to candidates in targeted districts around the country where I think a few extra bucks can make the difference.

It's right against wrong and while many refuse to accept it the future of our nation and our children is at stake and it's time conservatives start utilizing the same tactics that have gotten us beaten for years in close races to secure conservative victories.

I'd encourage anyone else to do the same.

Candidates like her will make the difference starting with the seating of the new congress as to what direction we as a nation will take.  Will we follow the Obama, Pelosi, Reid path or will we start taking the country back one bill at a time?

I vote for the latter and I'm voting with my dollars.
Without the First and Second Amendments, the rest of The Constitution is meaningless.

If only their decisions only effected their districts, I would agree. However as the
latest O'Bumbler socialistic boat anchor they've dropped on the American Taxpayer has proven, their votes effect us all!

Especially when you consider they can be bought off by pork in order to get Zero's agenda passed! How many whores were there in the healthcare bribe? The worst one being Mary Landrieu in LA!

At least the donations are coming from Americans and not from the Middle East like they did for Obama.

ITA! things like Obamacare, Cap and Tax affect all of us whereas State Legislatures are local and I would think most of those contributions are given locally.

Ethics mean absolutely nothing to our current congress critters! The waiver on Medicare to certain States, to out and out bribes for State bail Outs, even though their constituency disagreed, proves it!

I don't know how some of these whores sleep at night! To think the Repubs would resort to dragging a nominee thru the dirt in order to keep one of their "good 'ol boys" in office says all we need to know about politics in DC!

Apparently Cassle has sucked enough political dick, even though he rarely followed the Repubs line, gives us all an idea just how low these asshats will go in order to suck each other off!

The "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" BS is so entrenched in both parties they are willing to go against the people! How in the world the RNC could back this lib against the conservative in the election is so far over the line it's embarrassing! The fact they continue to do it without regard to their own political well being is astounding!!

It can't get any worse! It's time there is a complete housecleaning of the "Old Guard"! Screw this lobbyist mind set! We send conservatives to DC in order to represent the people, not their asshole bandit large cash contributors!

These MSM junkies would rather screw us in order to get face time on "Meet the Press"!

How much of a publicity junkie do you have to be in order to ignore the fact they're only givin' ya face time in order to make ya look like a fool? When was the last time ya actually saw a Repub get a favorable interview?

Hell, they set 'em up from the opening conversation and wait for 'em to **** it up so they can rub their nose in it!

I'm still waiting for this magical PPP poll that the DUmmies claim Feingold is "miles ahead" of his Republican opponent when the last PPP poll for WI was done in June and all the recent polls from Rasmussen and Magellan are a statistical tie.
