(According to the ballots that can be verified anyway)

Yesterday's hotly contest race for the GOP's U.S. Senate nomination in Delaware ended in victory for the state's moderate, much-beloved former Governor and nine-term U.S. Congressman Mike Castle --- at least according to the tabulation of ballots cast in the race which can actually be verified by anybody as having been recorded accurately as per the voters' intent.

From the State of Delaware's Elections website with 100% reporting:

Verifiable Paper-Based Absentee Results:
CASTLE: 54.7% - O'DONNELL: 45.3%

Unverifiable Election Day E-Voting Machine Results:
CASTLE: 46.7% - O'DONNELL: 53.3%

the reason all the right wing blogs, the right wing TV and the MSM are touting a republican win when we know it is not likely to happen, is this, the machines in most of the states that the republicans have access to have already been programmed for a republican win. With all the hoopla about the republicans winning in the manufactured polls especially, when the machines give it to the republican they will think people will believe it. They couldn't manufacture enough votes to overcome Obama's lead so he won. but just think, what in the hell would his total have been in the machines are recording his votes more accurately. It would have been a major landslide.

...e-voting machines can be rigged to sway an election, look at Georgia's '02 Governor and Senate where right-wing Repugs upset two incumbent Dems with new Diebold machines. All it takes is somebody with the key to the software that wants to change things.

By the way, the punishment for this kind of crap should be death...maybe if we line a couple of these bastards against a wall, their buddies may get the message and cut their dirty-tricks shit out.

If half the crap these losers spout about rigging elections was true, then the GOP would have a dynasty, and we wouldn't be in the sad shape that we are in now.
