Maybe if they kept the violent criminals who shoot up kids' birthday parties in jail this kind of thing wouldn't happen as often.

The writing in the cited article is terrible.

Semiautomatic AK variants WERE NOT BANNED by the expired federal "assault weapons" ban; models that were configured in ways that complied with the ban were sold every day the ban was in effect.

In Louisiana, shooting someone up with an AK-47 is just their way of saying "howdy". And it makes for moving graveside scenes:

You seem to forget that outlaws have little use for many weapons, including mortars. In fact, given the low incidence of AK/AR semi-auto use in homicides (-3%), most crims don't choose this weapon, favoring instead the hoary .38/.357 mag revolver family. I think it is because handguns are more easily concealed. What do you think?

Retards ,the lot of them.  They think it's the gun and not the criminal that's the problem and its not. Despite all evidence to the contrary and that every Genocide on this Earth was proceeded by a weapons/gun ban of some kind they just don't get it.

I have two..one preban and one postban. I keep them locked up because everyone knows these evil rifles are capable of leaving the house by themselves and going on shooting sprees....they just can't be trusted... :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

I caught mine doing that the other night it had two 30 round mags all loaded up and it had convinced a couple of my AR's to join him.  They were all dressed up in hoodies and had rags on their muzzles.  Had to take some drastic measures to keep them in check.  Separated the AR lowers from their uppers and locked and cabled the AK 47 to my safe.   :-) Dangerous things them AK's must be that communist heritage or something.

I am almost ashamed to tell you this story.  About 6 months ago I was in my room and I heard some really weird pounding sounds coming from my closet.  When I opened my closet door my AK-47 was raping my SKS.  The other modified SKS was in the corner crying so I figured the AK got one and then went after the other.  We now have to keep the AK locked up 23 out of 24 hours for the safety of the other guns. :bawl:  I painted the grip pink in hopes it would stop that crap too.
