I agree - it looks fabulous.
You know, BEG, miter saws aren't that expensive. The blades can be, especially with the more-teeth-per-inch styles, but the saws themselves - even compound saws - are pretty reasonable. Maybe $200 or so, unless you buy a DeWalt. In that case, you'd better take out a second mortgage.
There's no way I'd have the skills in doing what your husband has done, but even still, I use my miter saw a helluva lot more than just about any other power tool save my drills.
