I love the Judgement Day 1 too. We had fun. Oh and something happened at the rally that made me laugh, I said OMG this is like a

except it really isn't a

I laughed because I said if I post this I'll sound like someone at DU looking for accolades, which I'm not, but if I don't post it than as usual the unfounded stereotype about conservatives is allowed to flourish, so I'll post it. Hubby and I were walking around and decided to get a hot dog, so we're finishing the hot dog and decide to have a smoke, this poor guy comes up to me in a tie dye t-shirt and asks me for 1 cigarette, he said I'm sorry to ask but I have no money for a pack, so I said sure, I had 4 in my handbag so I gave him 3, he was very sweet and said you don't have to do that, I told him don't worry about it, he was so glad and he said God Bless. So we're getting ready to leave and he's talking to some other men who seem down on their luck, so I told hubby to wait, and I give the guy $20 and told him to buy a few packs of cigarettes for himself, he had this shocked look on his face and started telling me he's a little down on his luck, and I told him don't worry about it, at 1 time or another people are down on their luck and have been there. Again he said God Bless and we were on our way. Hubby got a little ticked off that I did that because he said how do you know the guy isn't a scammer, of course I don't know that, but who knows, maybe this guy had a perception of conservatives and maybe the stereotype at least in his mind now is unfounded.
