What were the expectations? Did they expect him to be an FDR progressive? Or were they disappointed by his pragmatic, bi-partisan style?

Apparently to these miscreants, bipartisanship equates to "I'm right, you're wrong, and we're going to ignore your input while we discuss everything behind closed-doors and, when it comes up for a vote, we're going to jump through legislative hoops to nullify your vote and ignore the will of the people in the process."
Also, I'm relatively certain that pragmatic doesn't mean what they think it means (to them it just sounds "hip"). Or else they're just one fry short of a happy-meal. OH noes!!, that's right, they want to ban happy-meals.
