Another reason to oppose gay marriage...the last thing we want to do is place undo burden on a precious & abused minority group. Why put them through the horror of watching their dreams die just because their combined income puts them in the dreaded "rich" income bracket.

I have a question--what the heck does (nt) mean---
Now this got my attention ---- in one of the posts the writer said they were 59 1/2 years old, who over the age of 18 adds that half a year in to their age.?
Cinide you gave me a laugh about the taxes on married Gay people.
Mom to me--Why don't people get married anymore.?
Me to Mom-- because it means you can't date around anymore.
I would think that a married gay couple have much more problems then a heterosexual couple. There are no blood ties by children in common, if you put your spouse on your medical insurance it becomes very difficult to get them off if they walk out on you.
Living the gay life is no bundle of Joy. If I walk out into my yard and kiss my husband when he comes home, if hubby were a woman I am sure the neighbors with kids would object to a public display of affection.
Legal issues, one of the married gays parents die and leaves a bequest to their child. As the money came into the couples hands after marriage a partner can take a hike with half the money.
I really don't know why Gays want to marry, they can get legal wills drawn up, life insurance in their partners name, agreements that are difficult to break for medical care, for their partner or the partners children.
The whole question of Gays confuses me, who makes it a requirement that gay marriage or heterosexual marriage include SEX.
