Who asks such a question from a complete stranger? and what stranger answers this question?
Who are we taking the country back from? socialism.
I never get asked these questions. I kind of feel slighted over that.
That's exactly what I thought too. Where the heck would this person work that would even prompt that kind of a question. The other thing all these encounters have in common is the stupid answers the "conservative" (read hick) gives. Anyone concerned with taking their country back isn't thinking about ACORN. We all know plenty of independents and even Republicans voted for the big 0, otherwise he wouldn't have won like he did. There aren't enough welfare recipients or illegal aliens voting (some states still take voting seriously) to sweep him into office were they the only ones.
It's the massive debt incurred in such a short time. The takeover of so many private sector companies. The policies that make businesses too unsure to start hiring. The government takeover of student loans. The disaster of a health care bill that even the left is complaining about because it's costing them money too. The czars who are accountable to no one...even Robert Byrd the so-call "conscience" of the senate didn't think that was ethical. The disaster that Fannie and Freddy has created in the housing market while lining the pockets of elites and insiders. The class and race warfare that is purposely amplified. These are just off the top of my head.
Besides, as much of a political junkie as I am, I certainly wouldn't have a discussion about it in a cafeteria line. I have plenty of opportunities to talk to my husband, including after we got our food and were sitting down at a table.
Note to DUmmies: Please try to make your bouncies more realistic. They're getting common and boring. And for God's sake, have a cop jump out of the bushes once in a while, will you?
