I already know he's going to reference himself a thousand times and the camera will be pulled tight enough to keep you from seeing if he's touching himself under the desk.
I know he's going to blame Bush for the war and congratulate himself for the demobilization. The Surge
TM will go unmentioned altogether as will the word "victory" or any of its synonyms.
I know he's a jackass and I've come to a level of peace (not acceptance) over that fact.
But here's what I want him to include amongst all the self-fellating crap:
It has been a hard road and many brave men and women from the US armed forces, our many allies and among freedom loving Iraqis have sacrificed more than they should ever be asked to give.
Make no mistake, I honor those sacrifices and I will not see their tears shed in vain.
To those who would oppose a free and self-governing Iraq I say this: Make no mistake, if you attempt to impose your barbarous violence on these good people America will stand beside our hard-won friends, the good and decent people of Iraq.
We will not stand idle if you return with your bombs, snipers and other tools of cowardice you have used to sow terror in the hearts of a people long beset by tyranny.
You have already lost once and the brave men and women of the US armed forces stand ready to once again defeat if you threaten their comrades-in-arms because they are good people, the sons and daughters of a great nation.
Thank-you, good night and may God continue to bless America.
Yeah, I know: he won't say it and even if he did he wouldn't mean it but a bunny can dream, can't he?
