How Many Missed Posts on This Forum?

Anyone besides me ever type a reply to a post, only to delete it for some reason.  Perhaps an innocuous one, perhaps because the collective mind of CCers would explode?
I ask this because I self censor two posts for every one I make.  Scary, huh?

Definitely.  I probably toss half my posts because they're either inanely stupid or way off-topic.  And I still managed to get 17,000+ posts here.

Guys and cars are like women and shoes.   I got new shoes in Vegas and DH dragged us to the Imperial casino to see a car collection.  He has a '67 Camaro he restored.
I know shit about cars, but those in the link would have DH drooling.

All the time. If I posted every one I type, I'd probably have 10,000 by this point. But I tend to be pretty critical of what I write, so unless it's exactly what I want to say, I don't post it.

I do my best posting whilst under the influence.  Pretty much every evening.  Umm, I'm a BAAAD girl.

I figure about a third of the time, I'll get all worked up and bothered to post on a topic, hit reply and get maybe 2 sentences into what I think I want to say, stop for a second, re-read it and come to the conclusion that whatever I was trying to say was making absolutely no sense whatsoever, and quietly hit the [Back] button on my browser.

All the time which is why I only have 688 posts even though I joined in March 2008.  Even after the self-censoring, I would probably remove an additional third of the posts I actually end up posting. What's clever when you're writing it can become very stupid when it's read in context with the rest of the topic . . . .  I'm grateful there are forgiving members here  !

 :rotf:Youall crack me up.  I have two types of posts-ones like this when it's morning and I'm stone cold sober and the evening posts after imbibing alcoholic refreshment.

Since Zer0 got affirmatively actioned into the presidency I've been drinking lots more.
