When I was coming out from anesthesia about a year ago I woke up to Glen Beck screaming like Hitler in my ears. At first I was just stunned... I sat bolt upright and threw an uncharacteristic, melodramatic fit, that surprised even me; flailing my arms complete with all the post op plumbing losing the finger monitor and life monitors flying asunder, setting off alarms and mortifying the nurses as emergency staff rushed into the room. I told them to get that god damned Nazi crap away from my ears and out of my sight.

I say or they're a mole trying to make the DU look like idiots. I don't know of any recovery rooms that have TV's, it's possible that a step down from the recovery room could have a TV for patients to turn on or off themselves, but the nurses don't have a TV set in the recovery room for all patients to look at, it would distract them from the job they have to do.

I've been in a recovery room 4 times! There ain't no stinkin' TV! You don't get a TV until you're in your room! And that's in 3 different hospitals!

LOL! I think the 1st thing I said to the nurse was asking to see my family. That was my 1st time having surgery under anesthesia and I heard all of these stories waking up from it, thank God I came out of it pretty good.
