1. True story

I will confess that I have actually paid money to see nugget but the last time I saw him was the final time because of his racism and extremist views.
Me and a couple of friends were standing in front of the stage when he came out. He was wearing a confederate flag shirt and playing his red, white, and blue guitar. He then went on a rant about those "****in' muslims" who blew up the buildings on 9/11. He also said, "Kill 'em all." Well, I couldn't let that go by so I stared screaming, "**** you, you chickenhawk piece of shit!" He had a couple of security guys in that area and thy told me to shut up. I told them that "I am an American and I'll say what I want, when I want." One guy told me to shut up again and then threatened me with physical violence. Well, I admit that I was fairly drunk and have been accused of lacking sense anyway, so I let loose with some stuff of my own. Stuff like, "This mother****er is a draft dodging piece of shit and a child molestor. He needs his ass kicked." Things like that. The guy drew back his fist and I told to "go ahead. I need the money. Nugent's got a lot of it." Then I guess someone had alerted the cops and they hustled me out of there.
I still wish that dude had hit me. It would have been a pleaure to kick his ass and get rich off of nugget as well.

That is a HORRIBLE bouncy.  He could have at least said that the Nuge himself came down to kick his ass instead of some lackey.

Oh, that one sucks so bad.

Indeed.  Pathetic, unoriginal, and a transparent fabrication.  I don't think that Ted woulda kicked his butt, but before any security would be called, someone else in the audience woulda pulverized him. Of this I have no doubt.

Yup. I do believe you're right.

True Story;

About 3 or 4 years ago the NRA had their national convention in Houston so I loaded up the family and off we went.  We got to see R. Lee Ermy and the Nuge actually walked by us so we stopped him for a hand shaking and an autograph.

It was actually pretty funny because as he was walking by I told my wife "Hey, there's Ted Nugent!"  She said "Naw, that's not him" so I stopped him .... it was him.

LOL

KC, that is so cool that you met Uncle Ted.  Best I ever got was a shoulder bump by Chuck Norris.  He stunned me so much I didn't even think about asking for an autograph.   :bawl:

Chuck is cool!  He lives not too far from here.  When hurricane Ike rolled through here he was on TV telling folks to come to his place in Navasota if they didn't have anywhere to go.

It was in a "state" forum that I just happened to read today, which would explain the lack of replies.

I'm kind of surprised that Bluzmann hasn't posted that story in one of the big forums, simply for street cred.

I'm not sure, but I think this moonbat op/ed that appeared in an Iowa rag is what inspired him:

http://www.thonline.com/article.cfm?id=292641

Mary Rae Bragg thinks Ted Nugent is a KKKlansman and the sight of his guitar pisses her off and she didn't want him to play.

That because it was Chuck Norris. The power of the Norris is so strong that a simple bump sent you forward in time just long enough to confuse you until he was gone.  :-)

I had to register just to post this:

Back in the day at a Jethro Tull concert (Broadsword tour) I just happened to have the binocs on Anderson when some guy started to climb up on the stage.  I saw the "Oh, sh*t, not this again."  look cross Anderson's face; then he swung his right hand with the microphone way behind himself, leaned foreward, and said something to the kid.  I never saw ANYbody go backward as fast as that kid did.

I kinda think Nugent would make Anderson look too kind...

First time I saw Ted was in 1975 as the headliner at the Salt Palace. This was the Cat Scratch Fever tour. The bill was Cheap Trick, Kiss, and Ted.

What a great concert. Ted was so loud my ears rang for three days after the concert!

True story...I see Tom Petty every time I can. He's made a few choice political statements over the years. I let them go in one ear and out the other. I like his music too much to get bent out of shape about a couple of comments that use up less than a minute of a two hour concert. Of course I have enough self confidence that I don't need to run to people on an anonymous message board and brag about being an obnoxious twit and pissing off everyone around me just so I can get a pat on the back.

I forget what concert it was, but Bush was still in office and Bruce went on a little rant, people were booing like crazy, in NJ I'd say the majority of Bruce fans are Republicans, and I've been to enough concerts to know the difference between booing and Bruuuuuucing, the booing was so loud that Bruce laughed a little bit and said OK OK all politicans are bad, and went back to playing.
