Laura-Leah Shaw says she equates going through divorce proceedings with her attempt to find homes for rabbits at the University of Victoria.

“We (UVic and animal activists) don’t really see eye-to-eye, but we’re working in the best interest of the kids (the rabbits),” she said. “We still have common property to work through.”

The proceedings are moving ahead now, as Shaw received approval this week from the Ministry of Environment to send up to 1,000 rabbits to a sanctuary in east Texas.

What in the world is so important about wild rabbits.?

Their purpose in life is to exist as a food source, clothing source for man and carnivore animals.   They are excellent animals to use in experimental medical labs,     :fuelfire:  and drive a farmer nuts.

They eat, sleep, have sex, hop about looking cutie. So on that note people are ready to spend time and money to save them, for what reason.?

Obviously you don't understand. Back in the days - me and my Coors beer swilling buddies hunted these ****ers, sometimes with our 300 Savage and 7mm hunting rifles. (esssplode). They crap and piss in the hay thus ruining it as feed for our livestock.

Kill `em...kill `em all....used to club them too...

Ah...the good old days...growing up in S.E. Idaho...
