(LOL!!!) Inside The Pew Poll: Most (60%) of those who think Obama is Muslim learned it from media

Edited on Thu Aug-19-10 02:36 PM by kpete
an amazing nugget buried in the poll's internals: A solid majority of those who believe that say they "learned" it from the media. The poll asked this question of those who maintain he's a Muslim:

2. And today MSNBC has been busy trying to re-define 'media' as

including "other" sources. Presumably "other" sources are called "media" but really aren't.

Of course they were. Just like typical liberals they want to blame everyone else.

3. Too bad they did not get more specific about WHICH media.

I bet FAUX NOISE would be at the top of the list.

Hey DUmbass. Every time they talked about this on FNC today, they stressed the fact that he is a Christian.   Talk about spewing propaganda.

6. It's VERY hard to get someone to say they got their info from fox snooze.

Whenever someone comes at me with something I know they could only have gotten from faux, I ask them "Where did you get that bullshit from, LOL!" And they just say I saw in on teevee or read it on the web and they conveniently cannot remember the source.

Indeed, my BIL and I are not talking because of this very thing. He wouldn't admit he was getting some erroneous info from faux and I told him he was being an gullible idiot watching that racist shit and that was that. Haven't spoken in a month.

When confronted by someone with facts, you know they listen to Fox News.  If they believed like you do, then they must listen to the propaganda from the state media, MSNBC.

5. Demonstrates "media" has significant influence; equal time rule needed. n/t

No, it doesn't. People should be free to get their misinformation from MSNBCor CNN, or CBS/ABC/NBC.

7. I just heard Rush say..

"Now why would 1 out of 5 people think Mullah Obama is a Muslim?"

Duuurrrr...

Yea, I know, bad on me for listening to this asshole for 2 minutes while getting lunch. It's a habit.

Right. You know you listen to every word he says, while drooling over the injustice of it all.

Just maybe it's because before the election you along with the alphabet media and demonRat party just gave him a pass without vetting his beliefs!

Naw, couldn't be you idiots and all the rest of the left wing wackos, just worshiped his skin color, could it? Couldn't be because he actually bows down before Muslim leaders, invites terrorists to the White House, acknowledges Ramadan, thinks the calling for evening prayer in Islamic countries is one of the most beautiful sounds on the planet, his daddy was a Muslim, he was born and went to grade school in a Muslim nation, etc..........

Naw, couldn't be any of those reasons!
I'm the guy your mother warned you about!

Well, I do think he's a secular Muslim.  I don't think he adheres to the prayer schedule, I don't think he's fasting this month, and he likes to drink.  I do not for a minute think he's a Christian.

I consider myself pretty well informed and I'VE NEVER heard the media say he was Muslim, maybe people are going by his actions? ie going on his apology tour to the Muslim world, his stand on the Mosque, I could go on.

How many Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Wiccans, Agnostics and Atheists celebrated the beginning of Ramadan?
Help keep America beautiful...deface a liberal.

The Democrat and Republican parties are simply the left and right wings of the same bird of prey.

The road to freedom is paved with dead liberals.

100% of them got the idea from his actions.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
