Backstory: Some noob links to story and some guy's blogspot page who apparently has spun enough paranoid CTs about the GWoT he has a book at amazon.com.
So anyway, Obama apparently hired Fred Kagan, who is a founding member of PNAC, to assist Petraeus in dealing with Afghan corruption which is undermining consolidation efforts.
Kagan was also instrumental in formulating the surge in Iraq.

16. Actually, this is a brilliant chess move that will totally discredit Neo-Conservatism,
when it call comes together, as it surely will.
