The New York Republican party is also said to be planning a hostile television campaign.Sources in New York said on Monday that Muslim religious and business leaders will announce plans to abandon the project in the next few days.Read more: http://www.haaretz.com/news/international/muslim-leader...Anyone seen this reported anywhere else?

I certainly hope it isn't true. What a shame it will be if this project is abandoned.

Without being able to hate someone or something, they'd have no reason to exist.

"The nation that couldn’t be conquered by foreign enemies has been conquered by its elected officials" odawg Free Republic in reference to the GOP Elites who are no difference than the Democrats
I highly doubt they will scrap the plans on building the mosque there, unfortunately.I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hope I am wrong though!
The only thing though, this is reflecting negatively on Obama and some Democrats, this could be a move to save face for them.

I've been threatened, assaulted, harassed, and discriminated against in housing and in the workplace. I have no job because of anti-gay Christians. The difference is that here we have a Constitution that will lock Christians up for murdering gays... if there were no laws protecting us from murder, I have no doubt Christians would get out their pitchforks and start the slaughter, just like their counterparts in relatively lawless parts of the world.
Based on the principles of the Qur'an and the Hadith, several eminent scholars of Islam, such as Imam Malik, Imam Shafi, Ahmad and Ishaaq have ruled that the person guilty of homosexuality should be stoned regardless of his married or unmarried nature
I went over and started to read the thread. It immediately turned gay. Somebody has discovered Greg Gutfeld's plan, and now they're squabbling over who is worse to Teh Gheys, Islam or Christianity. You have no job because nobody wants to spend 8 hours per day with a faggot that holds his penis with one hand and pinches all the other guys on the butt with the other one perpetual victim with a chip on its shoulder.

I thought that Matthew Shepherd was murdered as part of a drug deal gone bad . . .
Works for me ya ass puncher! Ya know I didn't give a rusty until ya started wanting me to accept marriage between two fud puckers was the same as what I, and every other "normal" person, have been taught for thousands of years! Marriage is between man and woman! Now, I don't give a shit if ya fall off the face of the planet! As a matter of fact, I'd like to give ya a shove!
soon as you find your manhood all else falls into place.
If Ft. Hood was "workplace violence," then the Hindenburg was an air show.
I don't know if sand glows in the dark, but we're gonna find out.
Dandi- The link in the DUmor's OP doesn't work anymore. Maybe it was yanked. It's obvious that SOMEONE doesn't want people to know that the project may be scraped.
