It's not impossible however, most businesses require more than 10K just for equipment alone.
I also believe with all the taxes and whatnot coming down the pike even a business like yours will cost more than a grand to get off the ground.
I sharpen saw blades on the side. The initial cost for the machine, the cheapie, I might add, was nearly 2 grand and that doesn't include the carbide wheels ya have to have for today's carbide blades. You can kinda figure it's not makin' a whole heck of a lot a dough right now seein' how wonderful the construction trade is goin'.
I've decided to build a CNC wood router for wooden signs and cabinet decor. Seems a lot of folks around here are upgrading their abodes rather than sell because Zero's economy is doin' so well they've lost their equity. Just the parts and software is goin' to run $2500!
At least I live in a state where the bureaucratic BS is still at a minimum. Otherwise I wouldn't have the cash! I ain't borrowin' nuttin from the Bummer! I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of takin' credit for my job!
I sure as hell ain't goin' to hire anyone! I wouldn't have a clue how to jump the hoops in the healthcare debacle!
