How the **** could a black man have said that?

"Nancy Pelosi will be in the back of the bus."

Say ****ing WHAT? This is obviously a guy who's way too young to remember.

(Not that I presume to speak for black Americans, but this strikes me as being completely off the rails; much, much worse than what it makes me feel like (homicidal) when I hear someone use the term "Indian Giver.")

And I'm not even very sensitive to stuff like that.

But "the back of the bus?" That asshole should just go ahead and admit he dislikes black people every bit as much as any white Republican does.

"'Indian' Giver."

20. I thought you were going to say he looks suspiciously like a white guy in make up.

if so, he should just stop it. He hasn't won over any black folks that I've ever heard of.

or maybe his job is to just make the few Republicans who feel guilty about their race-baiting feel a little better.

7. These are the same people who...

A repug lady in my town declared at a meeting that she had looked in all the stores and couldn't find powered eggs anywhere because the welfare mothers had them all. I suggested she take a carton of fresh eggs over to a welfare mothers house for a trade.

The women just looked at me like she'd just turned her brain totally to off.

18. That's no excuse.

Blacks fought for equal rights for so long. The fight goes on. Understandably.

Because of that, it doesn't make sense to me when other minority groups want to deny other groups equal rights. Makes me angry, and sad.

13. There is a lot of self-loathing in many black Republicans.

He is a classic case.

Steele is really all about his own self-promotion, his only interest in life. He says whatever he thinks will get him ahead.

He is Mike Tyson's former brother-in-law. Steele has about as much sense.

Hey, Redstone!  You're an "Indian' giver!" :bird:

Thanks, sir, for noticing the quotation marks around the word "Indian."

We don't want to give Chief S itting Bull any standing as a real authentic legitimate bona fide Native American, or even partially so.  The bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive is more Gaelic than St. Patrick.

Quote
Steele was born on October 15, 1958 at Andrews Air Force Base in Prince George's County, Maryland[5][6] and was adopted as an infant[7] by William and Maebell Steele. William died in 1962.[8][9] Maebell, who had been born into a sharecropping family in South Carolina,[10]  worked for minimum wage as a laundress to raise her children. After Michael's father died, she ignored her friends' appeals to apply for public assistance, later telling Michael 'I didn't want the government raising my children'.[10] She later married John Turner, a truck driver.

The "Indian" giver is just outraged about something else--perhaps a limp or withered or atrophied body part of his--but as usual vents his rage and frustration and anger at an unrelated target, in this case, righteous indignation about something Michael Steele might, or might not, have said.

The "Indian" giver's notorious for that, misdirected anger.

Yeah, thanks for that, dandi.  Wonder if the "Indian" Giver will wander over here and see that?  What a hateful, spiteful thread they have going.  Wonder why we don't sit around creating vicious threads about the DNC chairman, whatshisname?   Saying snarky things about the color of peoples' skins?

Obama looks like such a dork in that picture.   You know what would cure the baggy pants on the ground look?  (Although I think it's gone out of style).  Everybody who's a dad, go around for a day wearing them.
