The thread itself is pointless in a 4Chan sort of way- but the fact that it exists is interesting. Primitives have managed to friend Name Removed along with other things they should not have been able to do.

I can not be sure of this , however, this is the sort of bug that can cause DU's database to implode if it starts improperly linking things together..

To explain whats going on here..

Somehow, a primitive managed to find and respond to Name Removed -- in a deleted sub thread. For whatever reason, the sub thread became an original post by member Name Removed - allowing primitives to add Name Removed to their friends list. This is where the wrongness begins..

The thread by Name Removed has allowed spawning and linking of additional Sub threads, that are linking entirely wrong -- wrong enough to totally blow the database..  To explain...

I will refer to three threads -- Prime, Alpha, and Beta..

When one joins Name Removed's thread they join Prime..

Prime has 100 Posts. If someone furthers the exploit, they can form Alpha from Prime. Alpha contains the 100 Posts from Prime, and all Posts made in Alpha. so 101, 102, 103, etc are from Alpha.

If someone uses the Exploit to link to Beta, they will find Beta contains the 100 posts from prime, and any additonal posts made in Beta are numnbered 101, 102, 103, etc.

One cannot read Alpha posts from Beta. One Cannot read Beta posts from Alpha. One can read neither Alpha nor Beta posts from prime...

Now lets make it worse, While in Beta, a primitive starts thread Delta. The only way one can get to Delta to read is is to read prime, follow the link to Beta, then find the link in Beta to get to Delta.

Etc Etc Etc..

Then the island capsizes.

The short version is this.. Every post on a forum has a unique number, as does every user. These numbers are what keep things in order. By using this exploit, DUers are causing numbers in the database to repeat, causing the computer to overwrite things it shouldn't, or combine things that it shouldn't.

Honestly, If I was Skins, I would take the forum down NOW and plug this exploit.

How easy it will be to plug it ?  Who knows.. DU has modified old crappy DCForum + so much that it may be damn near impossible to find the source at this point.

Well, it appears there are at least a half dozen mods in this sub thread, and they have learned that it cant be locked... probably because it doesn't exist as far as DU is concerned.

I believe what is happening is it is changing history! Like it is posting Dumbutts post count from Alpha, Beta or etc back when an original post was made. Basically what these nimrods have found is a time machine on skins island!

This shit happens all the time with all kinds of code. I'm sure most of us here are familiar with those stinkin' "Crack" sites. More than once I've seen pop ups on clients computers with routes right back to these pukes! Usually they are just stupid little highschroolers ****in' around with whatever code they can scrounge from any number of web sites or software with an internet connection sharing variable. They get into any unsuspectin' fool's 'puter willing to download "crakz" to copyrighted material.

They always claim to be on the up and up, explaining they only post their shit on the net in order to inform the original copywriters of the errors in their code. They all share this shit amongst each other in order to blackmail the original company. There used to be a whole sub-culture of these stinkin' parasites. The thing to remember is, there is no such thing as perfect code, especially the code used on the net. It transitions operating systems, so everything from Linux to Mac and everything in between can be susceptible to their tom foolery. In other words, most are nothin' more than wannabe hackers!

Used to be they got spanked by the real thing and I thought it curbed their illegal behavior, cause make no mistake the FBI considers such intrusions nowadays to be a crime. These dipshits might be what is left over. It needs to be said that none of these pukes ever had an original idea in their little frikkin' pea brains. They just like to impress their fellow pea brains with their slight of hand.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to learn a DUmbass is the owner or such of a site and is fiddling with it the same way our own Miskie is searching Google. Google has protections 'cause they actually have guys who know what they are doin'. The slugs on the DUmpster, not so much. It could end up crashin' the Island or at least costin' our "Pal" Skins a pretty penny!

in case you're wonderin', yes, I use some of the same "slight of hand" to find my quarry when I need to. If you're a stinkin' criminal, out on bond, and have skipped your assigned appointment, pretty stupid to use known handles on "FaceBook'! Am I worried to divulge this info?
