Somebodies need to go and get a bunch of pig blood from a butcher and find a place to put it...in the walls or something during construction...make it a permanent addition.  :uhsure:

Fox News just reported that a building plan must be submitted for approval, and no permit requests have yet been submitted.

Maybe it will still be stopped.

Seriously...that might be a valid reason.

There is no doubt in my mind, and I would think hundreds if not thousands of others'....that allowing this place to be constructed there....will put the surrounding properties and their occupants in danger.

Unless everyone who lives there is as big a ***** as the mayor and city council, I don't see how it would not! I always thought there were more nutballs in NYC than any other place on the planet!

I think this building should be done with Union labor. Now before anyone freaks just remember there won't be alot of middle eastern types in the union. There would have to be at least 1 American on the crew who could oversee the installation of proper pork products along with the proper C4 cornerstones throughout the building. On the first anniversary of 9/11 after the opening of this center those cornerstones should be detonated and the ham products found in the rubble.  :-)

I can't imagine that a city like NYC,  would give out permits for electrical, heat and air, and plumbing to anyone who was not a city licensed contractor. That's even mandatory here for work done inside the city limits.

Would not the electricians and plumbers be union members? I think most are down here, in order to qualify for the union benefits.
