Oh my.

Caution: the subway cat wrote only part of this original post, and copied the rest of it from other places.

One can easily determine what's the subway cat's work, and what's not.

This belief that businesses"creates jobs" is a load of crap...

Is a bunch of shit,Because BUSINESSES regardless of size do not create jobs unless there is a DEMAND to be met by the business. What demand? A demand comes from a lot of people having MONEY TO SPEND on needs..

The poorest should be given enough to survive, and why is it so evil that they be given more, enough to thrive? For the truth is,every dollar a poor person gets is USED immediately to buy stuff to survive, the working poor does the same. The money applied to the have nones or have way less instead of the banks would have created the"consumer confidence" they claim is thier excuse to not loan money to small businesses.

If these dumb asses in the media and politics would GET the economy is NOT driven by businesses creating jobs for no reason, but by DEMAND.. The stupid and the greedy rich both may have to face the fact NO business, big or small will create jobs out of thin air and pay people to work doing nothing..Nothing moves without a demand for the job of making/doing whatever the business sells..demand must coming from somewhere, and the rich are not enough to create such a demand.. The quickest demand for stuff come from people who need stuff to survive NOW!!

If these politicians really wanted economic recovery there would be a massive influx of money to the LOWER classes.More than that cheesy 200 dollar check years ago.

If the poor were not forced to be so desperate, then the poor won't be prey for assholes to exploit

The Banks help no one but themselves.Reagan's stupid voodoo trickle down bullshit was a FAILURE and massive theft/fraud against America. It is a LIE that too many people think still "works"and this lie is STILL repeated even by Obama..

In negotiations over the forthcoming economic recovery package, some policymakers have argued that various measures aimed at low- and moderate-income families would serve a “safety net” function but that the package should focus more heavily on creating jobs. This argument reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of the current economic situation and of how economic stimulus works. Some of the proposals that policymakers apparently think of as job creators would actually preserve or create many fewer jobs than other proposals directed at families with low or moderate incomes or unemployed workers.

* The main reason why the economy is shrinking and unemployment is rising is a sharp drop in demand for goods and services.
* The quickest, most efficient way to bolster demand is to put money in the hands of people who will spend it quickly — namely, people who need it to cover basic expenses such as housing, food, and transportation.

Helping struggling families thus isn’t an alternative to preserving and creating jobs; it’s one of the most effective ways to preserve and create jobs and needs to be a prime focus of the forthcoming package.

Republicans hate the poor yet fear the poor becoming self suffient, and eventually becoming the competitors of the old rich, changing the way the old rich operate, changing the culture that is old and dead, changing the status quo.Taking control away from the old rich. That is what the old rich and christian straight whites fear the most, losing control over the millions of people they exploit, impoverish ,abuse and lie to.

4. Exactly.

Without demand, there will be no private job creation. It does not matter what the tax rate is. Even if it were at zero for businesses, without demand, no jobs.

7. That's just basic economics

The right has always relied on pseudo-economists like Arthur Laffer to support their ****ed up economic ideas. For decades, Republicans have been pushing the failed economic 'theory' that supply creates its own demand. It never has and never will. This has been proven time after time after time again, yet the Republican ****nuts still keep touting it because it translates to tax cuts for the rich, which is really what they are all about.

Oh my.  Talk about a whole lot of stupid.

Give a person a sum of money and yes it will be spent over some period of time,it may be a day or it may be a month.
Then, nothing because it is gone and with it any forced economic numbers.
That is the complete stupidity of their "demand" side theory of economics unless the influx of cash is never ending.

Oh yeah...that`s right, that is what they really want and this is just a trumped up economic theory to suggest it is something other then what it actually is.
An ongoing handout to them.

You say you want jobs for the people, primitives?  Well no one or any business is willing to take a chance of hiring at this point until they know how all these new regulations that your parent for life, big gov't, has imposed upon them.  Even the Congresscritter's who have created the new regulations don't know how, or even if, they're going to work.  Once again, your stupid lib policies have smothered the very things you now claim you want.  You have no one to blame but yourselves.

All I ever needed to know about economics I learned from an unemployable, transspecies, transgendered, total moonbat....now, how about that tenure as an economics professor.

That blew me away the dems saying we are gonna pass this and see if it does work.
Then again after Pelosi said we need to pass health care and see whats in it I shouldn't have been shocked.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

In truth, the bourgeoisie are parasites, we don't need them and would be much better off without them.

So stop patronizing the businesses already. Stop going to them for jobs. Ruck up and start heading out door-to-door looking for freelance work in whatever it is you do. Get together with some other likeminded anarcho-syndicalists or whatever and make your own little commune with a barter economy. What the hell is stopping you?

What's that you say? Oh, you want to tax the heck out of businesses so the wealth can be redistributed to subsidize your little business-hating lifestyle...so you won't have to patronize the business.

Oooooookay. I'm sure that model would last a long time. :whatever:

To recap in english:

1. 1+1=POTATO.

2. POTATO+2=YELLOW.

3. POTATO+YELLOW=FREE SEX CHANGE SURGERY.

Easier to follow that way.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
